UI Design: Merging two great visual identities

Vodafone asked us to design the Smart Tips App , which provides useful tips and information for their users. It is designed to help first-time and experienced Android users get the best out of their smartphone. Better than a regular user manual, it gives Vodafone customers a simple and yet interactive way to learn more about their devices.
The great challenge was merging two different visual styles from Vodafone and from Google Material Design, creating an app that looks "native".

We designed Smart Tips based on the latest Android Lollipop material design, using a system where each tip is a single, independent card.
Based an an easy-to-maintain CMS, Vodafone can update or add new tips over time to highlight new software or hardware features as needed.
